Pakistan Association of Texas (PAT) is a
non-profit organization of Pakistanis, committed to preserving,
supporting and enhancing the educational, cultural, economic, social
and political development of Pakistan and Pakistanis in Pakistan and
in the United States. PAT is committed to honor and respect all
Pakistani regardless of their political or religious affiliation,
gender or provincial origin. PAT is dedicated to remain politically
unaffiliated with any political party from Pakistan. PAT will
participate in the US political system to safeguard and represent
the interest of the Pakistani-American community.
Objectives:

To promote goodwill, understanding and fellowship
among Pakistani-Americans and community at large.

To conduct and celebrate events that are important to
the Pakistani-American community, e.g., Pakistan’s Independence Day,
Pakistan Resolution Day among other.
·
To promote, coordinate, support and educate the
community on political, social and economic issues and raise
awareness of their rights and responsibilities and represent the
Pakistani community's perspective on various issues.

To facilitate and promote the political awareness and
encourage greater participation in the public affairs.
·
To organize cultural and social events to promote art,
music, literature and other cultural aspects of Pakistani life;
·
To organize trade shows and create a network to locate
business opportunities for community members;
